I received employment quite quickly upon application and had a thorough interview and reference check. However, even when I was to interview with the client and begin my assignment, the recruiter was difficult to contact and didn't tell me when my start time was or where the location was. This turned out to be consistent behaviour, as the agent was slow to return my calls and respond to my enquiries. Also I was eventually in a position that I was uncomfortable with and in which the employer was requiring tasks far beyond those of my job description and contracted hours. When I asked the agent to help me in solving the problem she did not want to interfere and was no help at all in alleviating the conflict. Eventually I left the agency very unhappy with my treatment.
