Job Searching In The East Midlands

The East Midlands is an area of both outstanding natural beauty and also great diversity, offering its inhabitants not only a great place to live, but a great place to work too. The retail sector accounts for 12% of the region's economy, with 7% of the UK's businesses being located here, whilst the wholesale sector represents 7% of local economy, with 8% of UK companies being based in the area.

In overall terms, 20% of the working population are employed in manufacturing, 20% in retail, and 20% in public services. For an area with one of the largest land masses in the UK, the East Midlands has one of the smallest per capita populations, creating lots of space and a wonderfully quiet, vast and open countryside,
