Being the first time I had dealt with a recruitment agency i was initally sceptical that I would become just another application. Then out of the blue I received a call from consultant Sally Falkinder. Sally contacted me in regard to a position that was a little different from what I had previously done but was still capable of doing. after being short listed for interbiew, Sally was kind enough to send me a stack of information about the role, the company that the position was with and other information about the role. Sally's level of service and genuine commitment to her clients is outstanding. The level of support was really appreciated and assisted me into the position. Worst interview I ever had. The position was international and I am an overseas candidate. After lengthy exchange of emails no update about which stage of interview process we are in. Process in general not organised. Finally, agreed on time to chat over Skype for a maximum of 15 minutes, this turned to be a job interview. At the end of the interview they offered me totally different position from the one they shortlisted me for which the last time I did was in 2003. Totally disappointed by the service. Also distraction in the interview was clear. It seems the interviewer had a colleague setting next to them whispering questions in their ear. I could hear them in the background, which wasn't confortable at all. I rate this as a compelete failure by a recruiter in an international market. I don't think I will cooperate with them in the future if they approach me again.

I contacted Sally when I saw an advertisement for a position that I was very interested in. The position was a senior management position and required a careful and structured approach to recruitment as well as to my own negotiations. I recently secured a position through this agency. I found this agency to be excellent in terms of communication and keeping you updated. The speed at which I secured the position was outstanding. I was contacted on a Thursday and By Monday had an interview. I found the staff polite and courteous, friendly and approachable, Particularly Samantha Jones and a chap called Shane whose surname I forget (apologies to Shane). What I find useful is they wish to stay in touch and track my progress Not many agencies show interest afterwards. The only criticism I have is that occasionally the background was a bit noisy so had to ask them to repeat questions a few times. So I would recommend Parkhouse Bell to others.

After spending the last 4 years in the welfare to work industry in Australia I was keen to work with a Recruitment Company that was able to transfer my skills to the recuirements here in the UK. I needed them to understand the advantages of hiring someone who had worked in the system in which the new welfare reform changes were partly modeled on so they could advise the potential employer. I was referred to Parkhouse Bell because of this by a fellow manager in Australia and they responed to me straight away even though it was months until I returned to the UK. They put my mind at ease in regards to finding employment upon my return home. The interview was booked while I was still in Sydney so it was one less weight on my mind. After meeting with them I was sure they would be able to help me get the role I wanted and understood my skills. They were friendly and professional and in the busy weeks following the return to UK they did all the work in regards to seeking the right position for me. They listened to my needs and always kept in touch. I am very pleased with the role they have matched me to and I be sure to recommend them and use them if I have any recruitment needs.

Kevin and Gemma were both extremely helpful on all the occasions I needed to speak to them. Gemma was very friendly and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for her. Kevin was a very nice man! He was helpful and also had a great sense of humour and God knows that helps when job hunting. He was also genuine which is so important for the candidate to feel a sincere approach. I would definitely recommend them to anyone I had to in the future.

The service I received from Parkhouse Bell was far more supportive and personal than that of other recruiters. I had contact with a number of staff regarding various positions, including the Managing Director, and felt that I was valued as a candidate. I was pleased to accept a position through Parkhouse Bell, as I felt they had represented me well and had worked hard to place me in a suitable position.

Having worked in recruitment briefly myself I found Parkhouse Bell a breath of fresh air and restored my faith in the recruitment business. Parkhouse Bell and their staff are very professional,helpful and exceptionally good at what they do. When I signed up I was quite down after a negative work experience and I found the staff to be very positive and upbeat with the ability to understand my skill set and match me to the right job. I personally vowed never to use employment agencies as experiences had shown me that most recruitment consultants were more interested in achieving their target to achieve their bonuses than offering a tailor made service and treating you as an individual with specific needs.....................However PARKHOUSE BELL (Helen & Sally) astounded me with their professionalism understanding of the sector I wished to be employed in, they did not bombard me with vacancies that had no relevance to what we discussed but to my exact requirements. Overall an excellent company who treat you as an individual. Nothing is to much trouble and full feedback received after interviews. Guidance given on areas such as interviewing and presentation techniques and the guidance given on CV presentation and content was excellent. Helen, Bonnie and the team at PB were excellent, efficient with the 'human touch'. They did what they said they were going to do and when they said they would do it - a very refreshing change!
