One In Three Recruitment Firms Unaware Of IT Costs

One in three recruitment and employment agencies are unaware of their monthly IT expenditure per consultant, according to research by IT services provider Kamanchi.

The poll of 568 recruiters found that 33% were unsure of their technology spend, while 23% spend between £250 and £500 per consultant each month while a similar percentage spent between £100 and £150.

The research also shows that just over 10% of staffing companies spend more than £500 per consultant on IT each month.

Raymond Pennie, commercial director of Kamanchi and co-chair of Association of Professional of Staffing Companies (APSCo) Technology Forum, says: “It’s incredible that a third of recruitment firms don’t know what they are spending on technology each month.

“In this environment every business should know what their overheads are. These companies should really try to get on top of their IT costs.”
