During an interview, it is very important to make a good first impression.  Usually, it is during the fist few minutes that an interviewer makes a judgment decision as to whether you are a good candidate for the job.  If you nervous and anxious, this may hurt your chances.  Does anyone have some good advice for making a good first impression?  Any tricks for calming your nerves before the interview?

To make a good first impression, I try to be very friendly and polite.  This inculdes smiling, making direct eye contact and anwering all questions in a polite manner.  Another way to make a good first impression is to make a comment about how nice the office looks or the facility.  This shows that you are very observant and interested in the company.  It also generates a great way to break the ice and it allows them to get to know you on a more personal level.
