In America, Congress passed a bill that will raise the min wage to $7.25 per hour. Of course, many people who work at min wage are happy to see the increase.  However, there  can be problems.  Some companies are concerned that a rise in min wage will hurt their profit margin.  To compensate, they may have to raise their prices or cut down the number of employees working in their company.  They may even resort to cutting down the benefit package of employees.  Either way, it appears someone will be affected by the wage increase.  What are your thoughts?

My sister just got her min wage increased and she's happy.  However, lets face it, you can't survive on min wage.  She's lucky that her husband has a good salary and her small income supplements their extra expenses.  If she lived alone and had to pay rent, car payment, insurance, utility bills, food, and clothing, she would not be able to keep up with everything.  Min wage is just a way of keeping you financially down and unstable.
