There is a huge company in my town that has slowly lowered the amount of money past employees are getting in their pension plans.  One of the reason this has occurred is because the company is no longer in business and has filed bankruptcy.  Can a company legally do this to their past employees?  How to they expect people to survive if their pensions are cut back?  This is a terrible thing to experience when you are older and no longer working.  What would you do?
