I have heard that big companies that are growing rapidly usually hire a contract recruiter.  Has anyone ever heard of a contract recruiter before?  Do you know what their responsibilities include?  I think they are responsible to hiring all the job vacancies your company needs, including a recruiting manager.  Is this correct?

Hi Drake

Companies like Tesco's are famous for doing that, if they open a new store and if they havent got another localish store, they will hire a freelance / contract recruiter, hire some kind of office in the town and ask the recruiter to recruit local people for the new store.

Hope that helps.

Regards

By contractor do you mean recruiter or recruitment agency?
