At MRL Consulting Group we are currently embarking on a new corporate social media strategy in order to expand our network of connections (both client side and candidate side) and also improve our online visibility.
With increasing numbers of people searching for jobs on social media platforms such as twitter, and increasing numbers of recruiters now using these tools I wanted to ask how you, fellow recruiters, are embracing all things social: What techniques you are using and what advice you have.
I personally have found tools such as hootsuite (http://www
,hootsuite.com) useful for managing several social media accounts at the same time because you can schedule when you send updates out and control several sites from the same place.
At MRL our campaign is very new and only in the earliest of stages so if there are any recruiters who have a more established/developed social media presence I would be interested to hear from you.
