Workplace stress is having a strong impact on the nation's love lives, a survey by employment website Monster.co.uk has revealed.

Of those questioned in the survey, 37% revealed that the stress brought on by their job spoils the time they spend with their partner. And almost a quarter (23%) admitted that they feel expected to put their work life ahead of their home life.

A defiant 9% of workers, however, ensure that the strain of their job does not affect their relationship as they insist on putting their love lives ahead of their careers.

Lets face it this has been going on for years!

32 years ago, my boss called his company to say he wouldnt be in that day as he needed to take his wife to hospital. She had an Angina attack.

His boss told him that "his work is more important than his wife's health"

I have never forgotten this!    The Company is a Northern Builder A MONK

Stress:
Causes heart disease (arteries calcification), cancers, mental illnesses
Sleepless nights
Aches and pains
Mood swings - probably due to lack of sleep.

All not good!  employers don't give a toss about stress, they cause most of it by giving near impossible targets!

Now if it don't get done, it ain't my money or my company!  Not the right attitude but you can only do your best at the end of the day!
