Many businesses want to recognize their customers by implementing a customer appreciation day.  Does you company have one?  What do they provide for customers to show their appreciation?

Recently I went to my local bank and they had cookies and coffee for customers as they were waiting in line for the next bank teller.  It was a nice gesture and a few people went over and took a cookie.  The only problem I had, was know one knew why there were cookies. I think there should have been a sign saying, "thank you, customers", or balloons drawing attention to the table. Otherwise, people had no clue why the bank had cookies and coffee available.
