Many managers run a tight ship and there is little room for employees to express their ideas.  Do you think this type of business atmosphere restricts employees creativity?  Or is this the best way to run a business?

In my opinion, I think managers hinder creativity.  We live in a competitive business market and it is important to design a product that beats the competition. In order to achieve this, management needs to cultivate creativity by deviating from a traditional management role.  I would suggest following the role of managers in billion dollar companies that thrive on creativity such as Google or Microsoft.  They value creativity and know the proper roles managers must follow.
