Why do recruitment agencies put the same job on a job board several times clogging up the board and slowing down the search process.

Also why is the LOCATION not specific for example search West Sussex and you still get jobs in Manchester or London!

Do all the jobs posted exist?  Does anyone check?

Do the jobs get taken off as soon as the position is filled or are they left up there forever as a advert for the agency?

I guess these people do it to get more job candidates on their books. I don't like it one bit but it makes sense from a "business" point of view. I don't think it's ethical though.

Why do agancies continually need more candidiates on their books.

Those they already have are probably sat at home every day hoping today will be the day they get a call about a job.

The reality is that the call never comes and maybe only the latest new candidates get a call.

I have had calls up to two years AFTER I found a job,  from people and agencies I have never heard of.  They stole my details and set up their own agency working from home.

Lets face it isnt it about time an agency said thay either cannot help you or call you weekly with an update of what they are dloong for YOU.

And IND.

NO "everybody who seacrh jobs DONT see jobs in their particular location"
Northern Home Counties aint the South East or Sussex!
