I heard a few days ago that this has now been put off by Brown and Labour.

I read it's simply been delayed but will still happen. Many in the recruitment industry weren't happy as they felt it would be to expensive for them.

Yes apparently it will be put through in the next few months. I don't know if that will be before or after the general election and/or if this is Brown simply throwing a bone to the unions in a kind of (please vote for us) way.
Either or neither way I hope it is passed.

This in the longterm will be very good news for agency workers. It may hurt some agencies a little in the shorterm but after they've adjusted I think it will be fine.
