London-based recruitment company Advantage Global has formally signed a partnership agreement with Remploy which will help place more job seekers with a disability or health condition into sustainable work.

Remploy is the UK’s leading provider of specialist employment services to people who experience complex barriers to work. It partners with more than 2,000 of the country’s biggest companies and last year found jobs for 6,500 people with a range of physical, sensory and mental disabilities.

Advantage Global is an international staffing provider working with high profile clients in the public and private sectors. The partnership will mean that the company promotes Remploy to its clients as a recruitment services provider by sharing job opportunities, for which Remploy will receive a placement fee, providing onsite evaluations and assisting with interviews for job ready candidates. Remploy will also provide ongoing support for candidates in temporary positions.

Speaking at the signing in central London, Remploy’s head of corporate accounts Roy Easthope said: “This agreement demonstrates the importance key employers now put on recruiting a diverse workforce and working with a recruiter of the calibre of Advantage Global will enable Remploy to place our candidates in a variety of sustainable roles within blue chip, global companies.”

Advantage Global’s operations manager Helen O’Neill signed the partnership on behalf of the company. She said: “Our current and potential clients are increasingly looking for ways to increase the diversity within their workforce and are calling on their recruitment providers to manage this for them. Joining forces with Remploy will help us to achieve their aims while reflecting our own commitment to ensure equality in the workplace.”

Remploy does fantastic work. I had some experience of them here in Nottingham a few years ago. I ended up going with them and a few of their clients on a trip to look around an emergency services call centre. The Remploy staff couldn't have been kinder and more helpful.
