I find it amazing that so many people admit to this.


That said I have been put in this position before over a small matter and didn't think twice about it.

Perhaps people think they will be liked or respected more by their supervisor or manager if they cover there backs over small issues?

I too find this interesting. Though it depends how a lie is defined. Does anybody have any examples of this they could share without potentially incriminating yourself of course?
