![]() Tips For CV ImprovementAccuracy In our ninth of ten tips on great CV's let's look at accuracy. Typos and grammatical errors will stand out a mile to a professional job agency, recruitment consultancy or employer so don't put yourself out of the running for a job interview by forgetting to check your CV for simple mistakes. Check, check and - you guessed it - check again! Whether you have one definitive refined version of your CV or several aimed at specific employers or job types never underestimate the importance of checking for typos and grammatical errors. Even the best English major in the world can accidently hit a d instead of an f on a computer keyboard. That could mean the simple difference between being from somewhere and drom somewhere. Not a great thing to convey when trying to secure a job interview where, as we all know, perfection and correctness are very much heightened and emphasized. Make sure that all the dates and the spelling of company names are accurate. The last thing you want is to look amateurish when you know that's the last thing you actually are. It is a good idea to get someone to check over your CV. If you do this, ask them to pay attention to accuracy as well.
