![]() Tips For A Great InterviewBe yourself In our ninth and final interview tip let's look at the golden rule. Be yourself. Careers advice will always tell you this. Finding a job can be hard but will never be honestly aided by painting a false impression of yourself as some kind of perfect job candidate. An employer certainly wants to meet and know the real you so be honest at every step of the recruitment process. Don't pose for the interviewer or give a false impression of yourself or your abilities. This is as much for you as for your potential employer. What if you get the job based upon false information. It won't take long for your new employer to see through the fake picture you painted and this will not help when getting down to learning about and performing your new job. You also might find that you end up in a job that you were never suited for in the first place. Be a bit more serious and keep things professional but do not create a whole different persona for yourself - at best you will end up in a company you do not like and at worst it will slip in the interview and you will not get an offer at all.
