A recruiter or potential employer is more likely to want you to work for them if you like you already do work for them. Everybody knows job hunting is difficult and competitive so put yourself ahead of the game and take every simple step seriously.

First impressions really are vital at the interview stage and though it may have been   said a million times, we'll say it again: always wear a suit to your interview. A lot of jobs won't require you to be that smart on a daily basis, but it's far better to err on the side of formality at the interview stage. Even if you're applying for a job as a caretaker or hospital porter, wear a suit.  A smart personal appearance can make all the difference, and it definitely influences employers, even those who might claim not to care about appearance.

It also shows that you really want the job and that you've taken your time to prepare and look your best. Giving a good impression is such a vital part of the job interview and recruitment process and the first impression is often what you are wearing. Iron your clothes, style your hair, and always brush your teeth.  Somebody once said, "it's the simple things that count". We agree.
