This will also ingratiate you with prospective employees and say something about your business ethos and outlook.

When advertising a vacant job consider this incentive idea and highlight what the real advantages are to an employee in working for you. When asking your current employees for recomendations and suggestions let them know that they will benefit from the situation too. An idea many companies do is to reward the employee who recomended a candidate after they've been working for them for a few months. However this method makes careful performance management at every level of the recruitment process even more important. You'll also need to know the people that are likely to suggest good candidates and the people that might just want to make some easy money by suggesting a friend who needs a job whether that person would be suited to the position or not.
